Izard Stalking Hunt
The izard Hunting is rightly considered as the epitome of stalking because of the difficulty from one part because of the sharpe of the biotope and the meteorological conditions and on another part because of the difficulty to approach such a wild game.

Progress of the hunt :
We suggest 2 hunting days and 3 nights
We hunt every days since 13 of September and 31 of January but the better season to find trophie is the meeting periods, in November.
However, late season and winter also allows beautiful hunts. Generally, and in function of the climatics conditions, we hunt all day long and picnic at midday. A well experimented hunting guide will escort you the time of your stay.
The biotope :
We hunt the Isard on medium mountains where the altitude doesn't get over 1100m and where the territory is composed by abrupt mountains dominated by green oaks forest above wich are stony areas favorable for the izard's presence.
We also have the possibility to hunt on high mountain territories where we can hunt until the altitude of 2200m. Those territories host Isard populations of higher densities in comparison with the lower mountains. It's better to hunt low mountains in early season before the apparition of snow.
